The Bihar government is going to recruit Bihar Librarian on behalf of the Bihar Education Department. Bihar Librarian Vacancy 2025 : Recruitment of Clerk and Attendant
The government has approved the ‘Bihar Education Departmental Clerk and Attendant Service Rules 2025’ for the recruitment of 6421 clerks and 2000 attendants. Under this rule, part-time workers will be made permanent on 50% of the posts, while the remaining 50% posts will be directly recruited.
This decision will benefit those workers who were working part-time for years. At the same time, eligible youth will also be able to take advantage of this opportunity through new direct recruitment. Examination, educational qualification and experience will be made the basis for the direct recruitment process.
Bihar Librarian Vacancy 2025: Selection Process
Qualification: The minimum educational qualification for the post of Librarian is a graduate degree, as well as a degree in Library Science BLIS/MLIS is required.
Eligibility: For the post of Librarian, it will be mandatory to take/pass the STET exam by BSEB
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 21 to 40 years, while relaxation has been given for reserved categories as per the rules
Note: According to the new rules made by the Bihar Education Department, if you are a citizen of Bihar, then you have been given a relaxation of 10 years in the age limit for students of all reserved and unreserved categories.
